Hudson dressed up as Darth Vader this year. It was the first year that I didn't make his costume myself. As usual, we went to MawMaw's and PawPaw's house in Lafayette for trick-or-treating. He came home with a ton of candy that we thought he would still be eating come next Halloween. But Alton and I pitched in to help him, which he wasn't always happy about, and now there are just a few suckers left. I luck out every Halloween because Hudson is not much of a chocolate eater. He likes the suckers, sweet tarts, etc. so that leaves all of the chocolate candy for me. Yeah!!

Hudson and I carved the pumpkin and for some reason he came out looking like a vampire with fangs.

Hudson got so much candy that it covered MawMaw's coffee table. It also took me forever to check it all. PawPaw kept coming by trying to steal a piece!

I think this is Hudson's favorite part of Halloween. The only problem this year was that he had just lost his two bottom teeth, so he couldn't get a bite on one of the apples. He asked his dad to try, but he didn't have any success either.
